Axel Gabriel Leijonhufvud
Axel Gabriel Leijonhufvud (born 13 September 1717, died 19 June 1789) is a Swedish baron, courtier, patron of arts, politician and military. Leijonhufvud was a bachelor of the prince of the successor of the throne (kronprinsens kavaljerer). He belonged to the followers of Gustav III. He served as president of the Swedish state parliament (lantmarskalk) from 1771 to 1772.
He was one of the founders of the Swedish Royal Music Academy (Kungliga Musikaliska Akademien), and on 7 December 1771 he was its first president.
He also took part in another somewhat older (1753 year) Royal Academy of Literature, History and Monuments (Kungliga Vitterhetsakademien).
