Jules Dalou
Jules Dalou Jules Dalou (born December 31, 1838 in Paris, died April 15, 1902) is a French sculptor and realist in French sculpture.
Guardian of the Louvre during the Communion of Paris. In 1871-1979 he stayed in London, where he created mainly sculptures of genre and portrait bust. On his return home, he worked on the monument to the Triumph of the Republic and the unfinished project of the Work Monument. Author of the statue of Eugène Delacroix. The main streams of his work are sepulchral and portraiture. Bibliography
