Krystyna Rybicka


Krystyna Rybicka from the Kielan House prima voto Bąkowska (born 1924, died December 26, 2007 in Philadelphia) - Polish parasitologist and histochemist, docent at the Institute of Parasitology, Polish Academy of Sciences, an apoptosis researcher awarded the "Righteous Among the Nations" .

Since 1970, she has lived in the United States, working in several research institutes, including the University of Massachusetts; at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Brookhaven National Laboratory (Long Island N.Y.); US Public Health Service Hospital, Staten Island NY; Vanderbilt University, Nashville TN; and at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia PA.

In 1991, she was honored with her parents and sister as the Righteous Among the Nations, for helping with the Jewish population during the German occupation. Bibliography
