Marian Ponanta (born 1935, died June 9, 1956 in Warsaw) is a Polish boxer. Curriculum vitae

He fought in the light and medium-sized category, was a player of the clubs of Batory Chorzów, the Guards of Slupsk and the Guard of Warsaw. He participated in the European Championship in West Berlin in 1955, losing his quarter-final duel in the semi-final. He played 4 times in the Polish national team, scoring 3 victories with 1 lost in 1953 - 1954.

He died 9 June 1956 in the Vistula River in Warsaw. He was buried at the Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw. He was married to Nina, he had Darius' son.
