Mathematical and Physical Work
Mathematical and Physical Work - a journal of physics and mathematics founded by Samuel Dickstein, Wladyslaw Gosiewski, Edward Natanson and Władysław Natanson. In the years 1888-1951, 48 volumes of this publication appeared.
In 1955, the Polish Mathematical Society began publishing two series, one of them called "Mathematical Works" and the other "Mathematical News". Both designed as continuations of the journals founded by Dickstein. In 1967 "Mathematical Works" changed the title to the Latin "Commentationes Mathematicae". There are currently six series.
