The cerebellar cellular fat


The cerebellar cellular fatty tissue (former name: cerebellar lipoatroctectomy, lipomatous medulloblastoma) - a rare, benign, malignant cerebellar tumor of the adult age (mean age 51 years). It is an intermediate grade malignancy (WHO grade II). Prognosis is generally good. Demonstrates neuronal-neurocognitive and adipocytic differentiation, most often located in the cerebral hemispheres, somewhat less in the worm. For the first time it was included in the 2000 WHO classification. Previously described as lipomatous medulloblastoma, medullocytoma, lipidized medulloblastoma or lipidized neuroectodermal tumor of the cerebellum. Bibliography
