Andrzej Marian Bartczak


Andrzej Marian Bartczak (born March 8, 1945 in Kutno) is a Polish pedagogue, artist and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts. On.

Between 1963 and 1969 he studied at the Faculty of Textile at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Łódź. He is a professor at the Department of Graphic Arts and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. Władysław Strzemiński in Lodz, leads the Woodcutting Workshop, and since 1984 he has directed the Chair of Workshop Graphics. He is a member of the International Association of XYLON Woodworkers based in Switzerland. He has received numerous awards, medals and distinctions in exhibitions and competitions, for his work and achievements in didactic work in higher education. In 2015 he was awarded the Gold Medal of "Merit of Gloria Artis".
