Brzozowic coat of arms
Herb Birchowitz presents the Lamb of God on a blue background, holding a golden cross and white pennant. Coat of arms is a symbol of the local parish church. For the first time the coat of arms appears on German seals from the 19th century. The document from 1875 contains the half-century municipal seal with the image of the Lamb and the GEM inscription: SIEGEL: BRESOWITZ. The next seal of the coat of arms is the legendary GEMEINDE SIEGEL VON BRZEZOWITZ. On the last German seal before 1921 was the inscription GEMEINDE BRZEZOWITZ) LANDKR.BEUTHEN O./S .. During the period of the Polish administration, three new seals were made: the appearance of the coat of arms has not changed substantially, only the German legend has been removed and replaced by the Polish: ŚLĄSKIE VOIVODSHIP / ŚWIĘTOCHŁOWICKI (* GMINA / BRZOZOWICE) In 1933 Brzozowice was merged into one municipality with the village of Kamień At that time, two coats of arms were extracted: a miner extracting a pickaxe (stone coat), over which the Baranek symbolizing Brzozowice was placed. The new coat of arms was not approved by the ministry itself.
