Johan Frederik Clemens (born 29 November 1748, died 5 November 1831 in Copenhagen) is a Danish painter.

He studied at Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi in the years 1761-1773 under the direction of J. Mandelberg and J.M. Preisler. In the years 1773-1777 Clemens lived in Paris, where Charles-Nicolas Cochin exerted some influence on his style. In the years 1788-1792 he lived in Berlin, and in the years 1792-1795 in London.
