No Romance in China
No Romance in China - a British rock group founded by Vincent Clarke and Andrew Fletcher, who existed between 1977 and 1979. The group does not have any official recordings, and after the only concert they played, it disintegrated. After the breakup of No Romance in China, Clarke and Fletcher formed the Composition of Sound synthesizer team, which soon came to Martin Gore (keys, guitar) and Dave Gahan (singing). Upon reaching the latter, the band changed its name to Depeche Mode. The name comes from the French fashion magazine (Gahan was supposed to be a fashion designer before he joined the band). Group composition discography
No official discography. The group mainly performed covers of other artists and, possibly, Clarke's early works, such as "Photographic," later recorded for Depeche Mode's debut - Speak & amp; Spell.
