Curriculum vitae Youth

Hendrik Johannes Cruijff was born on April 25, 1947 at 13 o'clock in the Amsterdam suburb of Weidestraat, half a kilometer from the De Meer stadium, where he played capital Ajax. He grew up in a bourgeois family, Hermanus Cornelis Cruijff's father was the owner of a grocery store, and his mother, Petronella Bernard Draaijer, helped her with her family business. From the earliest years of his life, Jopie, like his mother, used to spend his days playing street football and he was doing it so hard that he used up a pair of shoes a week. At the age of 10, he was picked up by Ajax scouts from a large group of young players. When he was 12, on July 8, 1959 his father died of a heart attack. The boy survived his father's death and claimed that he still felt his presence. The family was forced to sell the store and look for new sources of income - Johan's mother was working as a cleaning lady in Ajax. Two years later, the man responsible for maintaining the grass in the Amsterdam stadium accepted the young Cruijff for help. His task was to pour sand on the pitch after heavy rain and clogging the flag in his corners. In his spare time he played football all the time, mostly with older players. At the age of 14-15, the partners had 18-year-olds and older players, which led to the overwhelming physical rivals opposed to ever better technique. Professional career Playing in Ajax

In 1962, the readers of the club's Ajax club learned that the club was growing talent to watch during the matches. On October 24, 1964, coach Vic Buckingham allowed a seventeen-year-old to play in a friendly encounter with Helmond. However, a real debut took place on 14 November this year during a performance against FC Groningen. Ajax lost 1: 3, but Cruijff scored his first goal three minutes before the end of the match. Season 1964/65 Joden finished in the lowest place in history, ie thirteenth in Eredivis, which was then 16 teams. The young player started to be loud in the next season. The starting line-up consisted of scoring two goals against Door Wilskracht Sterk on November 24, 1965. In seven games he scored eight goals and in March 1966 scored 3 goals in a 6-2 win over Telstar. Four days later, in a knockout duel with BV Veendam, the striker scored four times in the rivals' net, scoring 25 times in 23 games. Ajax won the championship and Cruijff was noticed by the Dutch national team manager, George Kessler. The athlete distinguished himself with dribbling, speed and unconventional vision of the game. Debut in the Inter-State match was on 7 September in Rotterdam in the match against Hungary, and Cruijff in the end of the match scored an equalizing goal. On 6 November, in his second game against Czechoslovakia at the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium, Cruijff was the first Dutchman to leave the field after receiving a red card. Irritated by Hrovath's and Popluhar's successful interventions, Cruijff threw himself on the other with his fists for which he was penalized by Glöckner's judge from the GDR. Due to disqualification by the national federation the next time
