Telodonty

Telodontics (Thelodonti) - extinct group of vertebrate vertebrates. The oldest representatives are known from the early-Romaginian rocks, or even late-Nordic, the last of them died in the late Devonian. Not all people consider the telodontics a natural unit (clad), it may be that it is actually a parafiletic group that includes the basic representatives of several groups (Pteraspidomorphi, Galeaspida, Anaspida, Osteostraci, Pituriaspida and mandibles). The characteristic feature of telodontes is the tiny scales covering the whole body.
