He attended a general school and then a pedagogical institute in Świsłoczy, graduating in 1912. He participated in the First World War. In 1915 he graduated from the Alexandria military school in Moscow. In 1918 he returned to Grodno, where he undertook military service and then civilian for the government of the People's Republic of Belarus. He became chairman of the Belarusian People's Council in Grodno. From October 1919 he was active in the Belarusian Military Commission in Minsk. In November 1920 he took part in the Słupsk rebellion against the Bolsheviks, after which he was interned in Poland. In 1921 he was arrested by the Polish authorities and imprisoned. After leaving for freedom in 1922 he was expelled to Lithuania. He lived in Latvia, where he taught in Belarusian grammar school in Dzwińsk and Belarusian general schools. He was active in the Cultural-Educational Association "Бацькаўшчына", for which he was arrested and tried in April 1925. During World War II he cooperated with the Germans. He worked in the occupation administration. His fate after the war is unknown.
