Edward Szczucki

Edward Józef Szczucki (born March 18, 1936 in Meducha) is a Polish politician, self-government, former president of Leszno. Curriculum vitae

He graduated from the Poznan University of Technology with a degree in building engineering. He worked for a number of years in PBLol Leszczyń, and went to the post of chief executive. He assumed the position of President of the Management Board of Ogrody Mieszkaniowa "Ogrody" in Leszno. From 1990-1998 he held the post of president of this city (first after the restoration of local government) for two terms. From 1990 to 2010 he continued to sit in the city council. He was active in the Democratic Union, the Freedom Union, and the Democratic Party. As a member of the Senate Block of the Senate 2001, he successfully ran for the Senate. In 2006, along with most of the activists of the Leszno PD, he joined the Civic Platform, the same year he became a councilor for the fifth time. In 2010 he was not re-elected. Bibliography
