Tadeusz Pyszkowski


Tadeusz Stefan Pyszkowski (born July 24, 1915 in Warsaw, died August 12, 2007 in Warsaw) is a Polish sports journalist, radio reporter and head of the Polish Radio and Television Program. Previous player, Huragana WoĊ‚omin (1928-30) and Warszawianki (1930-37), played 13 matches in the league and scored 3 goals.

Amongst other things, the first time in the history of the Warsaw-Prague cycling race was the 1948 cyclist race. In 1953, he was one of the reporters covering the European Boxing Championships taking place in Warsaw's Hall of Guard where Poles won 5 zlotys and two silver and bronze medals. In 1973 he reported on the famous England-Poland match at the Wembley Stadium in London, where the Poles were drawn up for promotion to the 1974 World Cup.
