Aitor Osa
Aitor Osa Eizaguirre (born September 9, 1973 in Zestoa) is a Spanish cyclist of Basque origin.
Aitor Osa started his career in 1995 in the Basque Euskadi team. After two years he changed club colors to Banesto. In 2001 he won his first victory by winning the 4th stage of the Tour of Portugal. In the following year he managed to win one stage in the Basque Country and win the entire race. Later he also won stage victories at the Vuelta and La Rioja and Portugal. In 2003 he was second in La Flèche Wallonne. In 2004 he first competed in the Tour de France and finished the race at 50th place. In 2006 the Osa ridden for the Spanish team ProTour, Liberty Seguros-Würth. He was one of the involved in the doping affair Operación Puerto.
Aitor is the elder brother of another cyclist, Unai Osa. They both went to the same team since 1997. Wins
