European Party of Ukraine
European Party of Ukraine (EPU) - a small Ukrainian political party centered and liberal. History
It was founded in 2006 by supporters of Mykola Katerynchuk, a popular deputy to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, on the basis of his European Movement of Ukraine. The group focuses on integration issues with the European Union and NATO. In July 2007 the EPU became a member of the pro-coalition Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense coalition, and its leader occupied the top ten electoral list. Mykola Katerynchuk was the only representative of the party to be elected to the Verkhovna Rada of the 6th term.
