John was the abbot of the premonstratens monastery in Louce. On February 10, 1474 the chaplain of the Litomyšl chapel residing in Svitavy chose him as Bishop of Litomyšl. On November 16, 1474, he was granted papal approval. On December 11, 1474, he was ordained a bishop in Rome. This is the last mention of Janie Bavorze. He probably died soon after.
