Parveen Babi (April 4, 1949 in Junagadh, died January 20, 2005 in Bombay) is an Indian actress.

She was a member of the Junagadh family during the British rule in India. In the mid-70s, she became one of the most popular Bollywood actresses, creating in many films the roles of strong women, indifferent to the rigid norms of customs. Among the most famous films was actor Amitabh Bachchan.

Having lost a lot of popularity, she suspended her film career and left for the United States for a few years.
