Rosemary West

Rosemary Pauline "Rose", "Dosie Rosie" Letts (West) (born November 29, 1953) is an English serial killer.

Curriculum vitae

On her 15th birthday she met her future husband, Fred West. Fred was then the murderer of two women: Anna McFall, his wife's friend and her lover, and Mary Bastholm. Fred persuaded Rosemary into perverse sex. She was later a prostitute.

For the first time, she murdered herself while Fred was in prison (he was convicted of theft and traffic offenses). Other murders were made jointly with Fred. Rosemary married him on January 29, 1972. Together they had made 10 killings in the past 15 years, all in women. June 19, 1987 Fred West murdered, without the help of his wife, his own daughter, Heather. On Feb. 25, 1994, police arrested Fred West, and the remains of his daughter's body were found the next day. On December 13th, both of the West were accused of murdering her. Fred was in the process to say that Rosemary had nothing to do with either daughter's murder or other murders. On January 1, 1995, Fred West committed suicide. November 22, 1995 Rosemary West was found guilty of 10 murders and sentenced to life imprisonment.
