Łukasz Grzywacz-Świtalski


Łukasz Grzywacz-Świtalski ps. Richard; Mikolaj (born 1899 - 1985), participant of the September campaign, soldier of the ZWZ, AK, social activist during the Polish People's Republic, author of books from the Second World War. During the Polish People's Republic he published in the Military Historical Review, WAP and PAX publications. In the years 1931-37 the soldier of the 1st Battalion in Chojnice. Just before the outbreak of World War II deputy mobilizer 57th infantry regiment in Poznan, with which he campaigned September. The division was surrounded on 28 September 1939 by the Soviet troops in Tarnogrod. Grzywacz-Świtalski avoided slavery by dressing himself in a private uniform. Bibliography Publications
