USS Elcano (PG-38)


USS Elcano (PG-38) is a Spanish naval gunboat and occupied by the US Navy during the American-Spanish War. She entered service in the US Navy in 1902 and was withdrawn in 1928. Elcano was built from steel in Spain in 1885 and served in the Spanish navy in Manila when it was occupied during the Battle of Manil Bay on May 1, 1898.
