Askoniusz Pedianus
Quintus Asconius Pedianus (born 9 September 76) is a Roman grammatist, author of commentary on literary works. He was born in Patavium (today Padua). There are 5 comments written by him for his sons to the following Cicero: In toga candida, In Pison, Pro Scauro, Pro Milone, Pro Cornelio. The latter two are particularly valuable, because the speeches they have written have not survived. By creating these works, he used many good sources, such as Fenestelli's work and Cicero's sketches and notes.
