Breathe (piosenka Pink Floyd)
"Breathe" is a British rock band Pink Floyd, from The Dark Side of the Moon, released in 1973. The genesis of the song
This song is also known as "Breathe in the Air". Roger Waters has previously written a song called "Breathe" for The Body. He appeared on the album Waters and Ron Geesin Music from The Body. As he realized, it was too late to change the title on the printed booklets. Later, the name of the song was renamed "Breathe in the Air" and this version is also available on some versions of the album.
The lyrics of this song, like all on this record, were written by Waters and sung by David Gilmour and Richard Wright. He criticizes the pursuit of success, a continuous race to be the best, lasting until death.
