celesta

Chelesta (int., abbreviation: Cel.) - a musical instrument from the group of keyboards, invented at the end of the 19th century, resembling the form of fisharmony. The sound is generated by the hammered metal keys connected to the box resonator, which emits a sound similar to the bell. Scale c1-c5

Czelestiny, due to its sound, was used by Piotr Tchaikovsky in the dance of a sugar bunny in the Nutcracker ballet. Other known works in which the homestead appears, are Holst Planet (part of Neptune), Shostakovich's Cello Concerto and Bartok's Strings, Percussion and Jazz. The film industry also includes the movie industry (including John Williams' music for Harry Potter). It is also used by the avant-garde jazz ensemble Art Ensemble of Chicago.
