Marcin Jurecki


Marcin Jurecki (born November 11, 1976 in Warsaw, Poland) is a Polish wrestler, multiple-time Polish representative in free style, participant of the Sydney Olympic Games, two-time Polish champion (1997, 1998). Athletic sports club coach in Bialogard.

In 2000, at the Sydney Games, he started 76 kg. In the first round he defeated Australian Reina Ozoline, and in subsequent defeats with Ukrainian Alik Muzajev and Moon-Eui Jae from South Korea and was eliminated from the tournament. He was a member of the world championship (he finished fifth in 2002 in Tehran) and Europe. He lived with his family in BiaƂogard. He died of cancer at the Warsaw Oncology Clinic.
