Marian Auerbach

He completed his philology studies at the University of Lviv, where he defended his doctorate in 1911 and in 1932 he habilitated and lectured. He was an adjunct member of the Lviv Scientific Society, a contributor to the Philological Committee of the Polish Academy of Arts, the first published in 1935, and the repeatedly revised Greek Grammar Academic Textbook. He dealt with, among others. a popular teaching activity, in particular the promotion of antiquity among the youth. He was known for his articles published in the Filomat of Science in Antiquities.
He was murdered by the Gestapo in July 1941 in Lviv. Bibliography
