On the Vistula and Wkra. Study for the Polish-Russian War of 1920. (1928, Lviv) - a book by Władysław Sikorski describing military actions, which he commanded the 5th Army when applied against the Wrecks. Sikorski, in the moment of impact from the river Waly, turned to the rear of the Bolsheviks on Ciechanów and Płońsk few tanks and armored cars. Thanks to that, it was possible to make an unexpected attack on the Soviets. This maneuver greatly contributed to the collapse of the enemy's defense and his panic retreat. Sikorski was a great supporter of the formation of armored forces in Poland. He thought they would soon dominate the battlefields.
According to Sikorski, he made a decisive maneuver in the Battle of Warsaw.
