Adam Stec (born 11 May 1952 in Jelenia near Jaworzno, died 19 July 2007) - Polish specialist in internal animal diseases, professor habilitated doctor, academic teacher, author of many publications and scientific expertises.

Veterinary diploma (1977) and doctorate in veterinary science (1984) obtained at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Agricultural University of Lublin, in 1995 habilitated at this university in the field of internal diseases. Professionally with the Lublin academy, he has been associated with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine since 1977, as an assistant, assistant professor (1984), professor and head of the Department of Internal Diseases of Animals and Horses, at the Department and Department of Internal Diseases of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. In 1990 he studied at the University of Tennessee (Department of Animal Science). He was a member of the Polish Society of Veterinary Science and the World Bujatric Society.

He authored publications on metabolic diseases, metabolism and magnesium deficiency in ruminants, developed a method to prevent hypomagnesaemia in dairy cows.

He died July 19, 2007, was buried July 21, 2007 in the Milejow cemetery. Honors Bibliography
