Mermina-Wagner theorem
Mermina-Wagner's Theorem (Coleman's Theorem) - Quantum field theorem and statistical physics, which states that it is impossible to spontaneously break a continuous symmetry at finite (positive) temperature in a system of one or more dimensions. two with sufficiently short-range effects.
