Roman Kurzbauer


Roman Henryk Kurzbauer (born September 25, 1941 in Warsaw) is a Polish politician of the German minority, doctor, academic teacher, Member of Parliament for the second term of office. Curriculum vitae

He graduated in 1964 from the Faculty of Medicine of the Silesian Medical Academy. He obtained his doctoral degree in plastic surgery and habilitated in general surgery. He is a professor at the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice. He lectures at the PMWSZ in Opole and PWSZ in Racibórz. He was the head of the surgery department of the District Hospital in Raciborz.

He was a member of the Labor Union. From 1993 to 1997 he served as a Member of Parliament for the second term of office of the German Minority from the Gliwice district. In 2001 he did not succeed in the SLD-UP list. In the years 2002-2006 he sat in the council of Racibórz district. In 2004 he joined the Social Democratic Republic of Poland. In the same year he ran for her in the European Parliament elections and senate election, and in 2005 in the parliamentary elections to the Sejm. Bibliography
