Stanisław Kryński (born 20 June 1912 in Warsaw, died 30 January 1967) is a Polish-American philologist, literary critic and translator of English literature. English poets of lakes (William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Robert Southey), Robert Burns, Samuel Butler and Edward Gibbon.

Graduated from Junior High School. Jan Zamoyski in Warsaw, obtaining a certificate of maturity in 1930. After graduating from the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw (1934) he became a master of law; and in 1938 - at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Warsaw - also a master of philosophy. At the same time, he also completed a three-year course in French law at the University of Warsaw, obtaining a certificate in 1937 from the Université de Paris.
