Teki Naruszewicz
These documents were collected by Adam Naruszewicz's chancellery (financed by King Stanisław August Poniatowski) to support his work in writing the History of the Polish Nation. Copies of original documents were made on 36x24 cm format cards. The documents contained very diverse documents. There are various legal acts such as giving, privileges, immunities. The smaller group is private. As the ages run, there is correspondence, both royal and private. Since the beginning of the 17th century, a number of Sejm dictators and Sejm directives have been mentioned. The anonymous work of journalists, news from various places in Poland and Europe, as well as in the 18th century, extracts from the Warsaw press. There are no records from chronicles and diaries.
This collection was not owned by Adam Naruszewicz. Teki was in the possession of the king, who paid for their copying of 5000 ducats. After the death of Stanisław August Poniatowski, they were handed over to Tadeusz Czacki, who had run for it because he had his own historiographic ambitions. Then from the widow after him purchased the Czartorysk archives. In their hands documented for many years and stored in different places: in Puławy, Siemianow, Paris, Kórnik. They were finally placed in Cracow, in the Czartoryski Library. There are currently 217 volumes, and the remainder are scattered across various Polish libraries.
