Eugene Grasset


Eugene Grasset Eugène Grasset (born May 25, 1841 in Lausanne, France, October 23, 1917) is a Swiss artist based in Secession. He studied in Zurich, in 1871 he settled in Paris. In his work he inspired oriental and medieval patterns, created his own drawing style with a linear and plane shape.

He designed posters, stained glass, letters, metalwork, decorative fabrics, jewelry and furniture. He was also the author of a number of prints. Bibliography Authoritative control (person):
