European Commission of the Danube
European Commission of the Danube - an international commission established under the Treaty of Paris of 1856. Due to its extremely broad competence, it was called "river state".
Initially, it was to operate only for two years, until the completion of the necessary work to make the lower Danube navy. The activities of the Commission were extended by the Powers until World War II. This allowed us to influence the Danube countries. Bibliography
