Fourteen-year-old Prue and her sister Grace have not been to school for a long time, they have been taught by the overbearing and extremely strict father at home since he thought school was the only thing they did. They know they are different from "normal" girls, but trying to find out what it is like to be a regular teenager who buys, for example, ordinary clothes instead of wearing mantis made by his mother, are met with their father's fury. But when my father gets a stroke and goes to the hospital, unable to move or even say a word, Prue suddenly discovers what freedom is. The mother of the girls, unable to cope with her husband's illness and teach her daughters, sends them to a nearby school and the girls first experience school life. Prue would never have imagined it would be so hard for her to fit into the school environment. The only person to talk to is a young, nice and handsome plastic teacher, Rax.
