Mirosław Drzewiecki (priest)


Mirosław Drzewiecki (born March 6, 1940 in Rudni) is a Roman Catholic priest, poet.

He was ordained priest on June 28, 1964 in Wroclaw. Then he worked in Kudowa Zdrój. From 1966 in Wroclaw, since 1974 he was an academic pastor and since 1983 the pastor of creative circles. In 1974 he completed his studies in Polonia at the Catholic University of Lublin. Famed sermons preached during martial law mainly in Wroclaw Cathedral. These sermons were later published in two collections: Really Free. Sermons of the years 1982-1988 and Ku Wolności. Sermons of the years 1982-1990. In 1993-1998 he was an ecclesiastical assistant and then director of the Catholic Radio "Rodzina" in Wrocław. Since 1998 the pastor of the parish of Our Lady of Czestochowa.
