Pepper


Pipera is a district located in the first sector, in the northern part of Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Boundaries of the city was incorporated in 1995, previously a separate village. Formerly the seat of the aristocracy. Currently it is part of Bucharest's most expensive land, in 2005 1 m² of land cost about 1000 RON (about 1000 PLN).

The district is served by Piper Metro Station, which is the northern end of Line 2.

Piper is one of the main locations in George Călinescu's book, Black Chest.
