Stanislaw Laskowski (nobleman)


Stanisław Laskowski, Dąbrowa coat of arms (d. 1661 or 1662) - the great crown laureate from 1652, the Płock governor from 1658, the castellan of Podlasie (1652) and the warlord of Łomża (1631), royal secretary (1631). < p>

He was born in Laskowo Jabłoń (now Old Laskowiec) in the Zambrów County, was the son of Bartłomiej Laskowski (died 1652). Before 1631 he became secretary of Zygmunt III Vasa and vice-president of the Crown. He sent from the land of Lomza to the sejm of 1632, 1634 and 1638. During the rise of Khmelnytsky he strove from dissolving with rebels. In August 1649 he made a show of the common ground of Warsaw near the village of Dęba near Warsaw. In 1651 King Jan Kazimierz appointed him as a resident at the side of the queen. In the years 1652-1654 he took part in the meetings of the Tax Court of Radom and Lwów. Laskowski stayed at the king's side in exile. After the expulsion of the Swedes, in 1658 he was appointed governor of Podlaskie Voivodship, and in the same year he was transferred to the province of Płock.

He bought, among others, Rockers, Willow and others. He also owned Laskowca. He married Zofia Popowska. He had a son of Zygmunt Laskowski and his daughter: Jadwiga and Konstancia. Bibliography
