ACRA (missile)
Anti-Char-Autopropulse (ACRA) designs - a French antitank missile projectile fired from a 142 mm caliber tank gun.
ACRA started work in 1962. The projectile was designed to have high speed, loudness and be guided in a laser beam. ACRA guns were planned to mount over 12 tonnes on vehicles. Due to technological problems, work on the missile was interrupted around 1970 or 1973, concentrating efforts on the work on conventional missiles HOT and Milan.
