Heinrich Giese

Heinrich Giese (born 1904, died?) - a Nazi criminal, member of the concentration camp Mauthausen-Gusen and SS-Schütze. Waffen-SS Member since October 1940. He served as a guard and financial official in the main camp from October 1, 1940 to March 25, 1943. Giese had a conscience on the prisoners of the camp.

Giese was convicted in the trial of Mauthausen-Gusen (US vs. Johann Altfuldisch and others) by the American Military Tribunal in Dachau for the death penalty. Judgment was later changed to life imprisonment. Bibliography
