Michał Turkiewicz


Michał Turkiewicz (born November 25, 1956 in Sulikowo) is a Polish politician, Member of Parliament for the fourth term of office. Curriculum vitae

He graduated in 1988 from the Faculty of Social and Political Studies at the Academy of Social Sciences (acting at the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers' Party) in Warsaw. Since 1978 he was a member of the Polish United Workers' Party, in the 1980s he was a full time employee of the party committee. From 1988 to 1990 he was vice-chairman of the municipal council of Luban. From 1990-1998 he worked as a teacher, then until 2001 he was the vice-mayor of Lubania. He was the mandate of the deputy to the Sejm of the fourth term of Legnica, elected from the list of the Democratic Left Alliance. He worked in the Local Government and Regional Policy and Economic Commission. In 2005 he was not re-elected.

In 2006 he was appointed to the position of President of Zakłady Gospodarki i Usług Komunalnych Sp. with o.o. in Lubań. Until 2007 he was also the president of the Euroregion Nysa. He entered the SLD provincial authorities. In 2010 he became a councilor of the Lubań county. The mandate also retained in 2014. Bibliography
