Shift register
Four-column shift register with serial input (Data in) and parallel output (Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4).
Shift register - a register built from trigger latches connected in such a way that, at the clock pulse, the stored bit information moves (moves) to successive latches.

As part of a series of standard integrated circuits, there are extensive shift registers (including bi-directional) that combine the features of selected or all of these architectures. Since the 1970s, programmable and reprogrammable circuits have been available for the simple implementation of any shift registers.
