Marian Pachan (born 1925, September 13, 2007) - Polish physicist, employee of the Nuclear Research Institute / Institute of Nuclear Studies, head of the Department of Accelerated Particle Physics and Techniques, pioneer of accelerator technology in Poland

During World War II he was a soldier of the Home Army. As a contributor to the development of accelerator technology, he was awarded the State Prize for the second degree, and the Medal of Honor. Professor Andrzej Sołtana.
