Rocket modeling

Rocket modeling is the mapping of rockets on a scale. Rocket models often use solid fuel rocket engines that are a mixture of fuel and an oxidizer. Such rockets can climb up to a kilometer and up. After the flight, rocket models open (still high) miniature parachutes. To facilitate the search for lost models on the rocket launcher, sound-producing devices are assembled.

Models may be equipped with accessories such as: cameras, flight cameras, altimeters, barometers, etc. The missile is ignited by a radio, a cable or a fuse. All observers and operators must be at a safe distance from the start (there is a possibility of explosion of the rocket engine). It is possible to build multi-level rockets using multiple engines.
