Chris Urbanowicz (born June 22, 1981 in Nottingham, England) is a British guitarist and rock band Editors. For three years, along with future members of Editors, he studied music technology at Staffordshire University. Later, two years before the band signed a contract with Kitchenware Records, he worked at a shoe store in Birmingham.

She lives in Nottingham, is a fan of the Nottingham Forest Football Club. Asked about the bands that had the most influence on his music, he mentioned: The Walkmen, The Strokes, LCD Soundsystem, Kraftwerk and Elbow.
