Holster
Heckler & amp; Koch P7 in the holster at the waist of a Bavarian policeman
The holster, unlike the olive, is most often covered from the top or has a different clasp preventing the weapon from falling out; This solution requires that the holster be removed before removal of the gun, which may make it difficult to use the weapon in certain situations.
The holster usually includes additional pockets designed to carry ammunition or spare magazines and other equipment (eg a wiper). Sometimes - for example, for the Browning HP gun - the holster could be used as a flask for attaching a gun to it.
According to the Polish military regulations, gun holsters are worn: Bibliography
