John Isner (Latin: Joannes Isnerus, born 1345 in Racibórz, died May 25, 1411 in Cracow) is a theologian and first professor of theology at the University of Krakow.

Studied at the University of Kazimierz Wielki and then in Prague. The title of doctor of artium was awarded in 1376. He lectured at the renovated Cracow Academy in 1401-1411. Among his students were: Stanislaw from Skarbimierz, Jakub from Nysa and Mikołaj from Pyzdr. In 1409 he founded the first Bursa of the Poor at the corner of Gołębiej and Wiślna Streets in Cracow for students from Lithuania and Russia and handed over his private collection. He wrote a commentary on Aristotle's Physics, as well as sermons and theological works, among others. Expositio missae. Bibliography
