Scouting for Environmental Protection. Francis of Assisi (HROŚ) - scout organization founded in 1986 by Dariusz Morsztyn. This organization worked for the first two years within the Polish Scouting Association, then operated informally, and in 1990 it was registered as an association. It is a non-governmental ecological movement in Poland.

It is the only scouting organization in the country - pacifist. He does not use the drill, the costumes are not called uniforms, instead of the commanders are the chiefs. The HROS refers to the Puszcza stream, draws from indigenous cultures, especially indian and old Polish. Calling and greeting HROŚ, is the slogan of Saint. Francis of Assisi "Peace and Goodness."

The founder of this organization was received. Green Leaf Award (1994). HROS is a local organization and operates mainly in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. The headquarters of HROŚ are located in Ściborki near Mazurskie Province. in Gołdap and Grudziądz.
