Friedrich Christian Weber was a German diplomat in the service of Hanover and the United Kingdom living in the 18th century and a political writer.

Friedrich Christian Weber Born in Hanover. While George I of Hanover became the king of Great Britain in 1714, Weber represented the British interests in Russia.

As a diplomat, he did not have much success, but wrote a book about how Peter the Great reformed Russia on the Western model. "Das veraenderte Russland", published in three volumes: I in 1721, II in 1739 and III in 1740.
